The mockup implementing a user interface simulator has been finalized by the design team of ECAL in May 2015. This simulator is a crucial tool to test and improve the human-machine interactions. The user being part of our development process, several testing sessions will be organized in Switzerland and Cameroon to improve the workflow, the system’s ergonomics and the user interface design. Moreover, this tool will be used to study the human factors and to reduce the risk of misuse, as required by the medical directives with respect to safety.
At a later stage, this simulator could be used as an education tool when setting up the teaching and training program.
